Trip Overview
We will kick off our evening at a local brewery to meet the brewmasters and sample beers brewed at the end of the world. You can decide for yourself if it really is more refreshing down south! Next, we will head to a chocolate shop, where we will not only sample the wares but also learn how the chocolate gets made. Following the chocolate, is one of the Southern Cone’s most famous local products, wine! We will enjoy a wine tasting experience, sampling local Malbecs and Cabernets. While we sample, an Argentinian wine expert will walk us through the savors and flavors we are appreciating.
Next, it’s time to sample some of Argentina’s traditional food. In Ushuaia, one of the most prized Argentinian dishes is centolla, king crab. We’ll enjoy a private restaurant experience and sample this local delicacy as well as traditional empanadas. At the restaurant. We’ll end our evening in a native, edible garden.
We will also try a traditional picada, or charcuterie platter and you are welcome to choose from a variety of wines and local beers to sample You can choose to have dinner in the garden or your guide can make you a reservation at a number of local restaurants. Simply explain what you are looking for and your guide will make a recommendation tailored specifically to you and your group!
